group sessions

One of the gifts of coaching in groups is that we all benefit from other people’s life experiences. Gaining access to a supportive and safe environment allows us to face some of our fears regarding opening up. There is an advantage for us when we become part of a community and do our part to be there for others when struggles come up through the group process.

Group coaching has been shown to increase our empathy for others and helps us develop a deeper trust in ourselves and with others. Often, members in the group share commonalities of their life experiences, and having an understanding, the supportive group can rapidly decrease the time we spend in our struggles and begin gaining more confidence in ourselves.

I am a very big fan of group coaching for these reasons. I have participated in hundreds of groups through my own process, whether while in treatment centers myself, AA, Al-Anon, or other groups I have participated in. Often I gained more clarity into whatever it was that was working on simply by listening and hearing how others had made progress with similar struggles.

Groups are held online via Zoom. Groups typically start every 3 to 4 months. Please let me know if you are interested!
